aura-chic's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bob..... ok, so the one night i decide to go to bed around 11 i get a phone call at midnight... never fails... so i answer the phone, and it's my friend Bob. he and i have been friends since i was 16 and i think had it not been for the fact that i was "jailbait" when we met, that we would have dated. but instead we just became really good friends, and now we kind of have that whole brother and sister type relationship... well anyway back to the reason why he called. his former roommate's girlfriend had set him up with this girl and they all went out on a date.. so he just had to call me after escaping this horrible fiasco. apparently the girl had no personality, bordering on being bitchy, and she was completely unattractive.. now he doesn't care much about looks, but the whole having less personality than a cardboard box was less than appealing for him... so he called to tell me all about it... she apparently just sat there saying nothing while he tried repeatedly asking her questions, and trying to draw her out... well his old roommate, Jason, was talking to his girlfriend, and he of course is calling her sweetie, and things like that, and Bob's "date" said, "do you even know her name?, i mean damn, just once i want to hear you say her name" all bein bitchy, and i think that was the last straw for Bob, and for Jason, so he made up some excuse and left... can't say that i blame him, he said that he needed a drink, a strong one, i laughed at this, because he doesn't drink. so i have promised him that i will go see him soon, we'll go dancing or something... it's easier to meet a member of the opposite sex when yer with one... some women just don't want a man unless he's with another chick... i have managed to get him several dates like that... hahaha.. poor guy... ok well anyway, there's not much else going on here. i've only got about one more day til i start working at a real job again, and surprisingly i'm looking forward to it....toodles :) 3:39 p.m. - 2003-02-02 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
